We believe that Humanists should "practice what they preach" and model the behavior that they wish to see in others: Acts of compassion, the pursuit of justice, etc.
From time-to-time, we will promote selected community-service projects and activities of other, likeminded organizations on this page.

Make the Volunteer Difference!
The San Diego Blood Bank is asking you to make a differencein life by volunteering your time. San Diego Blood Bank volunteers play a pivotal role in ensuring that our community has a plentiful blood supply available for patients in need.
There are several ways to make a difference as a volunteer. You can help out at a a mobile blood drive or a health fair in your neighborhood, in the canteen at one of our donor centers or become an ambassador by speaking on the blood bank's behalf at various community group meetings.
